Belleview is a city in Marion County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,478 at the 2000 census. According to the U.S Census estimates of 2009, the city had a population of 4,483. [1] It is part of the Ocala Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city name, Belleview, which means beautiful view, was derived from one of the original settlers, whose daughter was named “Belle”.
